I ordered these because the last set I bought for everyday couldn't be put in the microwave or dishwasher. They are pretty, but that is all. These arrived intact and they are very fine. They are versatile in every way, can even go into the oven. They set a casual or elegant table. I couldn't be happier. I also ordered two sets of cereal bowls and they are large, but nice and deep. I plan to use these for a long time.

I have used stoneware&porcelain dinnerware in the past that chipped easily in the dishwasher,and got marked from flatware. I decided to order everyday china Mikasa dinnerware, and I love the quality! Never chips or marks, and the finish and delicate look is beautiful! I great set at a great price!
